The best way to explore the Ironworks is on a guided walking tour. Led by a trained local guide, you’ll see and hear about the history of the Ironworks and learn about the Ironworks in the present day. Group tours are organised to order all year round. The recommended maximum group size is 20–25 people. For larger groups, we recommend booking two guides. An outdoor walking tour can be combined with a visit to the Terassitalo building or to other sites, such as the sauna by the river, Jokisauna. Reserve 1.5 hours for the walking tour at a price of €70 (+VAT at 24%). The tour can be customised.
